The view from my room here
(yes, that is LAX and this is a classy joint) is different from my view at home this time of year . . .
but they are both painted in subdued colors.
It’s the sounds that are the bigger difference between the two environments. . . chittering eagles and silence versus jets landing and taking off and car alarms.
My primary “input channel” for information is through my ears. I’m an ‘”auditory learner” though, like all of us, I use other channels as well.
I wish I had brought my earplugs.
