The first person I ever encountered with Tourettes was this sweet little old Bible-carrying woman at Venoy Continued Care Nursing Home, when I worked there. Or have you built little castle towers (turrets) on your keyboard? I've been on the island for almost 30 years and I'm still working on plumbing issues. Resilient, yes. But hip to current popular language nuance? No. I did, for a while, have an island friend with Tourettes. He was very entertaining, though I think it was frustrating for him. He was a graphic artist. He and his wife and daughter (who was one of my son's preschool friends) moved away. I sometimes wonder how he is doing. OK Roscoe . . . do you have Keyboard Tourettes?
